about
Theresa May has been out of power for some time, now she’s out of office too. The sympathy she tried to evoke through her resignation speech will no doubt be delivered in farewell statements on 7th June.
No Sympathy is a song to remind us why Theresa May and her party do not deserve our sympathy and a warning to future politicians that they will be held to account.
lyrics
Mrs Maybot don't feel sorry for her,
she's watching you when you think you are alone.
Mrs Maybot don't feel sorry for her,
she told you and you're family to go home.
Mrs Maybot don't feel sorry for her,
putting pary before country and people again.
Mrs Maybot don't feel sorry for her,
another u-turn still she lies and lies and lies.
Mrs Maybot don't feel sorry for her,
she's not burning in the fire.
All the Tories don't feel sorry for them,
they're not burning in the fire.
Grab on, hold tight,
it's gonna be a rough ride.
Don't fear, march on,
I can see a light.
Never been so close,
keep up the fight.
Love brings us hope,
what a beautiful sight.
Housing trickster don't feel sorry for him,
Maybot's got his back and he's playing to win.
Housing trickster don't feel sorry for him,
he should have stood but he sat and sat and sat.
Council drones don't feel sorry for them,
it's cuts for us but make it pretty for them.
Council drones don't feel sorry for them,
they didn't listen to the cries of the voiceless.
All the Tories don't feel sorry for them,
they're not burning in the fire.
We are the many don't feel sorry for us,
we're all burning in the fire.
After all I'll be grateful again,
for change born in the fire.
